The discovery of life beyond Earth turns a quiet rural life into a nightmare. Astrophysicists Daniel and Michelle raise their family in the countryside while studying the stars — until Daniel uncovers undeniable proof of alien life. Against Michelle's warning to keep it buried, he leaks it to the world. Almost immediately the family is under siege: the power and communications go dark, a swarm of drones closes in, and a relentless, faceless pursuer drives them from their home and across the countryside.
